From single moms to sexy Ivy League undergrads, Sassy Bean has found the most entertaining, heartfelt, and down-right hilarious dating diaries on the Internet.

Don’t get us wrong-- in our minds, the best dating diary on the web can be found right here at Sassy Bean. But a quick glance around the blogosphere reveals that there are thousands of other writers out there ready to give Carrie Bradshaw a run for her money. Here are our picks for the five best dating blogs around, in no particular order:

Single Mom Seeking
This site is scribed by 35-year-old single mother Rachel Sarah, whose blog-based book was published earlier this year. Though she includes plenty of fascinating tidbits from her own life, the posts mostly ponder general questions such as “Does Your Ex Still Own Your Soul?” and “Can a Single Mom Have a Boy Toy?” The active readership weighs in in the comments section, and their two-cents is often just as interesting as the author’s.

Sex and the Ivy
Harvard undergrad Lena Chen chronicles her active sex and love life on her infamous blog, Sex and the Ivy. The combination of a risqué subject matter set against the prim and proper Harvard background, in addition to her candid and witty writing style has already caught the attention of “The Boston Globe” and “Radar.” But is it too much information? Maybe, although it’s just right when you’re in the mood for an over-share.

Single in the City
This blog is out in two ways: for one, it’s set way out in Sydney, Australia. Secondly, its author, who goes only by the name “Single Guy,” is, well, out himself. The shield of anonymity can’t hurt considering how candid he’s willing to be about his search for “The One.” Though the blog focuses mainly on his personal experiences, Single Guy’s posts tend to morph into a general meditation on the state of sex and love in general.

Alyssacentric
Glamour’s dating blogger spot is currently being filled by Mike Cherico, a LA-based English teacher. His blog is surprisingly honest, which is both refreshing and a little startling. For example: “Despite having things in common, if she doesn’t fit my certain type (i.e. blond), I have no reason to go beyond a date or two.” Oh my! Love him or hate him, you have to give him props for really putting himself out there and not censoring himself. And who doesn’t want to get a peek at what guys really think about dating?

Dating Dames
Dating Dames provides a daily dose of dating food for thought. Whether it’s pointing you in the direction of the latest dating-oriented gizmo, posing hypothetical what-would-you-do situations, or positing words of wisdom, the Dating Dames (also known as Gayla and Sasha) don’t disappoint.

I love reading all of these blogs...one site that is fairly new actually and starting w a bang is a site http://www.thegoldenclub.net Its for people 50 and over… the thing i like about their site is its was more cheaper then any other site and a life time memebership is only $140 that freaking great!! Most are yearly and always charge you to try and get your money… plus they have everything other dating sites have plus more like games, chat, 3d chat which is pretty cool and other stuff. Just thought i’d let any mature adults that wanted to try a nice new site hope ya like it!! Much love xoxoxo
