The answer might be waiting for you on the big screen!

This really HOT guy and I had a great first date! It started at 8 p.m. and didn’t end until 1 o’clock in the morning. But now been 4 days, and I haven’t heard anything from him. My friend's all say he's "out of my league" and that I should forget about him. Can I text him or just call to say hi?

Confused Silly Sarah

Today's question is one we get all time here on the website. Dating out of your league. It's an age old concern, as a matter of fact the big screen romantic comedy "She's Out Of My League" opens in movie theaters today, so it's the perfect time to learn some answers on the subject!

First of all, NOBODY is out of your league if you are confident about who you are! You've put in the time to be your best, you're a catch regardless of the person you are attracted to when it comes to dating and romance.

Now about your current "guy", stop worrying if it's something you've done!

Do not take it personally because it may have nothing to do with you. But, DO NOT CALL HIM. He’ll either think it’s a “booty call” or he will think you are desperate. There are three main reasons why men don’t call when they say they will:

1. He might not be looking for a commitment. He might think that a follow up phone call after a fun date is a signal to you that he wants to enter into a serious relationship.

2. You may not be his priority at the moment. He does not know you that well and there are things in his life that may take precedence, such as his job, his aging parents, a business meeting or whatever.

3. He has man-child syndrome. He is 16 trapped in the body of a 40-year old. Entering into adult behavior (like calling you after a terrific evening) makes him uncomfortable.

Whatever the reason, you don’t need to pick up your phone, this time it’s up to him to make the first dial. And always go for the best when it comes to romance!

Kirk (Jay Baruchel), an average Joe, cannot believe his luck when the beautiful Molly (Alice Eve) falls for him in the DreamWorks Pictures comedy “She’s Out Of My League,” a Paramount Pictures release.

"She's Out of My League" is a new romantic comedy film, directed by Jim Field Smith and written by Sean Anders and John Morris. The film stars Jay Baruchel and Alice Eve, and was produced by Jimmy Miller for DreamWorks, it's theatrical release debuted on Friday, March 12, 2010.
