Love Letters: Do They Stay Or Do They Go?

Dear Matt,
I found old love letters from my boyfriend’s ex. Can I throw them out or do I have to keep them? I hate having them in the apartment!
How would you feel if he threw out an old picture of you and your ex? Believe it or not, men can be surprisingly sentimental. This is a side of him that you may not always see, but if you found love letters it exists in your modern-day Voltaire. If his poetic soul is longing for romantic sentiments, give him some new memories with love letters
and sweet notes of your own. He is with you. Those ex-girlfriends may have been instrumental in shaping him in the past,
but now you are shaping him into part of your future. In time, your new words of love will replace those old letters.
