Meet Tamsen

Tamsen Fadal

 

Tamsen Fadal joined the Emmy Award-winning PIX Morning News in March
2008. Tamsen is seen anchoring weekday mornings as she covers the
hottest stories of the day. She also delivers her widly acclaimed
dden; overflow-y: hidden;">feature segments that give viewers a first hand look at new and
exciting places, people and events in the tri-state area.
Prior to joining PIX, Tamsen was an on-air correspondent at for the
CBS flagship station, WCBS-TV in New York, where she worked four
years. Prior to that, she reported for KYW-TV in Philadelphia, WFTV-TV
in Orlando and WPGH-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In her career, she has covered stories ranging from the Columbia
shuttle crash and the London bombings. In 2002, she traveled to
Afghanistan with the American troops to report on the war. She also
traveled to Air Force bases in London and Germany to report on local
troops during Operation Enduring Freedom. She began her broadcasting
career as a morning drive anchor for WHNZ Radio in Tampa, Florida
after graduating from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor
of Arts degree in journalism.
Tamsen was awarded an Emmy in 2005 for her work as an Investigative
Journalist at KYW-TV in Philadelphia, and a Broadcast Journalism Award
in 2004 by the National Air Disaster Foundation [NADF] post 9/11, for
contributions leading to improved aviation safety.
Tamsen resides in Manhattan with her husband, Matt Titus. Together,
they have written the books "Why Hasn't He Called?" How Guys Really
Think and How to Get the Right One Interested in You and "Why Hasn't
He Proposed?" Go From The First Date To Setting The Date. The pair
starred in the Lifetime Television dating series, "Matched in
Manhattan." Together the pair host a national syndicated weekly
segment with Meredith Corporation titled, ASK MATT AND TAMSEN that is
seen in 60 television markets across the U.S.
The pair also contribute regularly to Glamour Magazine, The Huffington
Post as well as OK! Magazine, USA Today, Elle, TV Guide, Men’s
Fitness, Life & Style Magazine, New York Daily News, NY Post, Time Out
New York, & Magazine, Tango Magazine, About.com, iVillage.com, among
many others.
